Hijiki is dark and thin seaweed. Simmered hijiki is a common dish to be cooked at home.
Ingredients:
- 1 oz dried hijiki seaweed
- 1 aburaage
- 1/4 carrot
- 3 tbsps soy sauce
- 2 tbsps sugar
- 2 tbsps mirin
- 3/4 cup water
